What is the TD Summer Reading Club?

The TD Summer Reading Club is Canada’s biggest summer reading program for kids of all ages, all interests, and all abilities.

Can my kids still participate if we'll be away for most of the summer?

Yes! You can pick up a Reading Passport to take home for your kids and fill it out on your own time. Remember that your library card gives you 24/7 free access to OverDrive for ebooks and e-audiobooks.

My child has a print disability. How can they participate?

We have audiobooks, ebooks and books with CDs that they can listen to and report on. You can also request or download an www.tdsummerreadingclub.ca/parents/accessibility">http://www.tdsummerreadingclub.ca/parents/accessibility">accessible notebook which includes large print, e-text, audio and braille.

Can my kids still attend programs even if they haven't registered for the TD Summer Reading Club?

Yes, kids can attend any summer program in their age range. The only exception is the Ages 9-12 Book Club, as this group requires pre-registration.

What do we do with the Reading Passport?

This depends on your preference. It may be easiest if you keep your Reading Passport in the box at the library, and we will pull it out during programs for kids to fill out. You are also welcome to take it home with you if you prefer -- Just make sure you return it to the library by Monday, August 26 to be entered into the draw for prizes!
