Join The Library
Membership is free to permanent residents of Sioux Lookout and Lac Seul First Nation upon presentation of identification showing name and address. Non-residents who pay taxes to the Municipality of Sioux Lookout are also eligible to have membership in the Sioux Lookout Public Library at no charge.
A membership fee of $40/individual $60/family, applies to all temporary and non-residents of Sioux Lookout. Non-resident students may have a library card at no charge as long as they are enrolled in an area school. Enrollment must be confirmed.
Children under the age of fourteen (14) must have their library card signed by a parent or guardian.
Cards are issued to individuals only. When a Family membership has been purchased, cards will be issued to each individual in that family. (Family includes both spouses and any children up to the age of 18 who live at the same address and who are the children of either or both spouse, or who are considered to be under the guardianship of either spouse.)
